Already 5 years ago Thinka launched her first product, Thinka HomeKit for KNX. Today, April 15, 2021, we are proud to launch Thinka KNX PRO; a HomeKit for KNX Bridge with a built-in IP Gateway and Secure Remote Access to the local Thinka and KNX system of your customer.

In 2015 we developed our first smart home product for KNX: Thinka, a Smart Home Hub, a bridge connecting and controlling smart home devices, enabling homeowners to easily control their homes. Due to KNXperience, our founder and CEO Michael Franken was interviewed by KNXToday With Design for Privacy being one of the 4 design principles of Thinka, Michael explains how Security and Data Protection underlie the Thinka KNX Bridge.

You can probably recognise all the time you spent thinking of a way to pick group addresses and map them to objects. For instance the first digit in the group address for zone, the second for room, etc. But after a while the whole project still looks like spaghetti.
